Huangguoshu stone Museum

Located in the parking lot of Huangguoshu ecotourism center, Huangguoshu stone Museum, covering an area of 3000 square meters, started operation and preparation at the end of 2009. It is a cultural tourism experience project integrating geography, geology, popular science education, Chinese traditional aesthetics and traditional stone culture, which is launched into the 2010 summer tourism market in Huangguoshu scenic spot. It can be called a living part of the geological evolution history of Guizhou Teaching materials. At the beginning of its construction, the museum has applied for the title of "China ornamental stone base" and won the honorary titles of "Guizhou paleontological fossil research base", "Anshun ornamental stone base" and "Guizhou 100 travel agencies recommended visit point".

Huangguoshu stone museum is divided into three parts: "ancient vicissitudes Museum", "Yayun Tiancheng Museum" and "dream crystal flower Museum", and "dragon", "flower", "elegant stone" and "mineral crystal" exhibition contents of global jade specimens and jade carvings. The collection includes more than ten genera, more than 40 species and nearly 100 pieces of paleontological fossils. Among them, there are typical Guanling chuangkong Guizhou crinoids, Hu's Guizhou dragon, Guanling Ichthyosaurus, pangchi dragon, Panxian mixed Ichthyosaurus, etc.; elegant stones: green, ink, red, yellow, Panjiang, Wujiang, Hongshui River and other water systems, more than 500 pieces of various kinds of strange stones in Guizhou Province, and more than 300 pieces of mineral crystal stones in Guizhou Province and all over the country. At the same time, the collection of Wuling stone, Lingbi stone, big fossil, yellow wax stone and a number of domestic well-known stone species for all-round display. Ouyang Ziyuan, a world famous astrochemist and geochemist, and chief scientist of China lunar exploration project, inscribed the inscription "great waterfall freehand karst, the museum shows vicissitudes and vicissitudes", which fully affirmed the significance of Huangguoshu Museum in geography science popularization.
