Fushun railway station

Fushun boarding and landing station, formerly known as yonganqiao station, was built in 1905. The station is located at Xiyi Road, Xinfu District, Fushun City, Liaoning Province. It was originally a first-class station, but now it is a boarding and landing station.

In 2008, Fushun station built a new station building on the east side of the original site, and the old station was protected as a cultural relic.

On September 30, 2011, the new Fushun boarding and landing station was officially put into use.

On September 21, 2017, Fushun boarding and alighting office stopped handling passenger boarding and alighting business, ticket business was handled normally, and ticket refund and re signing business was not handled.

On July 28, 2020, Fushun boarding and landing office will stop selling tickets.

Historical evolution

The predecessor of Fushun station is Fushun station. The main building before reconstruction was built in 1923.

In 1905, while improving the field railway, Japanese engineers built Fushun station at the foot of Yong'an station in Fushun City. At that time, they were mainly responsible for freight transportation. In November 1923, the new railway station built on Yong'an platform was called Fushun station. The Fushun station before 2011 was rebuilt in the period of the Japanese puppet regime.

The earliest railway station in Fushun was Fushun station in qianjinzhai area; it was moved to daguantun station in 1926; and from 1923 to 1926, Fushun station in qianjinzhai and Fushun station in yongantai existed at the same time.

According to incomplete statistics, since the liberation of Fushun in 1948, Fushun station has sent about 850000 passengers a year and 131331 tons of goods to all parts of the country every year. Fushun station witnessed the pain of a city which had been plundered by the invaders and the contribution of Fushun old industrial base to the national construction.

In 2009, Fushun Municipal government and China Railway Shenyang Bureau Group Co., Ltd. reconstructed the railway, demolished the connecting line between jiangjunbao and Fushun of Shenyang Jilin Railway, renamed Fushun City Station as Fushun north station, transferred Fushun railway passenger and freight transport hub station from Fushun station to Fushun north station, and changed the grade of former Fushun station to boarding and landing station, which is used as the intermediate station of Shenyang Fuzhou intercity railway.

On September 30, 2011, the new Fushun boarding and landing station was put into use.

Since September 21, 2017, Fushun boarding and alighting office has stopped handling passenger boarding and alighting business, and the ticketing business is in normal operation, but it does not handle ticket refund and endorsement business.

On July 28, 2020, due to the implementation of e-ticketing on the national common speed railway, Fushun passenger and landing station stopped its ticketing business and completely abandoned it.

Construction scale

Fushun boarding and alighting station is divided into two floors. The first floor is the ticket office and waiting room, with toilet, inquiry desk, disabled lane and other humanized facilities. The second floor is the passenger platform.
