Navy Cultural Park

In 2011, Gaogang District of Taizhou city permanently planned to build a naval Culture Park in the North bridgehead area of Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge, aiming to promote the naval culture and strengthen the national defense education of young people. This is not only a main functional area in the riverside green space of Binjiang New Town, but also an important expansion area for the memorial hall of the birthplace of Baimamiao navy to extend to the naval ship culture. It will echo and rely on the original site of Baimamiao and the memorial hall of the Navy, forming a "three in one" naval culture exhibition platform and a naval theme education base.

The planned land area of the naval Cultural Park is about 24.5 hectares. It is located on both sides of the southernmost River dyke in Gaogang District, Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is the former site of the battlefield before the battle of "boot dyke" crossing the river. It is adjacent to the Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge in the East, surrounded by Yangtze Jiangnan Road, Yingjiang Road, Jianqiao road and other roads leading to the main urban area of Taizhou in the north, as well as the road on the top of the river dyke, Jinjiang Road, Shugang road and other roads crossing the East and West, The transportation is very convenient.
