Geographical location

Qidu river originates from the first banner of Hubei Township in Ningde City, runs through the whole territory from west to East, and enters the sea at Qidu Town. It is a separate River into the sea, with a total length of 58 km and a total drainage area of 333.5 square kilometers. It is the second largest river in Jiaocheng District of Ningde City, next to Huotong river. Most of the basin is in the middle and low mountainous area with medium cutting structure erosion, and the vegetation is well covered. Except Hubei in the source area and Yangzhong basin in the middle reaches, the rivers mostly pass through the mountains, with steep riverbed, fast flow and abundant hydraulic resources. Development planning

Ningde county (Jiaocheng District Government) compiled the development planning report of Qidu River in Ningde City of Fujian Province in October 1984 and passed the examination; According to the approval opinions on the development planning of Qidu River in Ningde City (MHJ No. 138) issued by Fujian Provincial Department of water resources and hydropower, Qidu river basin is divided into six levels of development. From upstream to downstream are Baiyan hydropower station, Changtan hydropower station, Yangzhong hydropower station, daze hydropower station and Dagang hydropower station, with a total installed capacity of 41700 kW.
