Guanyin Wanghai refers to the statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva on the upper right side of Shengyan temple in Taohua Island, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province, about 50 meters away from Guanyin hall.

Introduction to scenic spots

Guanyin looking at the sea: on the upper right side of the release pool of Shengyan temple, about 50 meters away from Guanyin hall, a rock about 6 meters high and 2 meters wide stands. Looking up from the main hall of Shengyan temple, this stone looks like a statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva standing on the lotus throne, facing the ocean of the East China Sea and looking at ships passing by Taohua port. It is called "Guanyin looking at the sea stone" That is why "Shengyan" got its name.
