Introduction to scenic spots

Yunxian National Geopark is located in Qinba Mountain Area in the middle and upper reaches of Hanjiang River. Relying on the precious geological heritage resources of Qinglongshan dinosaur egg fossil group and integrating other geological heritage resources in the county, it has formed Qinglongshan dinosaur egg fossil Park, Meizhen ape man cave geological heritage protection point, longyinxia jiulongpu karst cave Canyon group Park, huxiaotan karst primeval forest Grand Canyon There are nine scenic spots in the park, including Yungaisi turquoise mine site park, Ancheng ancient copper mine site park, Qingqu Yunxian human site park, Lijiagou dinosaur fossil geological heritage protection area, and Canglang mountain hongyanbei Wudang group ecological park. Yunxian geological structure is located in the southern margin of the eastern end of Qinling fold system. Since Proterozoic, the region has experienced three stages: Jinning movement, Hercynian movement and Yanshan Himalayan movement. Among them, the Yanshan Himalayan movement directly affected the survival and reproduction of dinosaurs, the preservation of dinosaur eggs and the subsequent exposure state. The strata exposed in this area mainly include the Middle Proterozoic Wudangshan group, the Neoproterozoic Ediacaran Yaolinghe group, Doushantuo Formation and Dengying Formation, and the Mesozoic Upper Cretaceous. Among them, Yunxian marble is found in the Doushantuo Formation of the Neoproterozoic Ediacaran system, and dinosaur skeletons and dinosaur eggs are buried in the upper Cretaceous purplish red glutenite of the Mesozoic. Qinglongshan dinosaur egg fossil group is a well preserved egg fossil group with strong natural properties, which has been found at home and abroad. Its typicality, rarity, naturalness, systematicness and integrity, as well as its appreciation value, are unmatched by other dinosaur egg fossil areas at home and abroad.
