Brief introduction to the temple
Dajue temple was built in 1033 A.D. in the second year of the reign of emperor Chongxi of the Liao Dynasty. It has experienced the Jin, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. For nearly a thousand years, it has a magnificent temple and many eminent monks. However, it was destroyed in the war of resistance. The Dajue temple to be rebuilt is located on the west side of the Jade Buddha palace in Beijing Tianjin New Town, Baodi District, Tianjin. It has all kinds of facilities and functions, such as Mountain Gate hall, lecture hall, Squatter house, worship, culture and education. It covers a total area of 500 mu, with a planned total construction area of 77200 square meters and an estimated total investment of more than 800 million yuan.
