Heilong spring is located in Yangji Township, 10km north of the county, at the south foot of Qifeng mountain. Because the spring water flows up from the bottom of the pool, it is like Heilong playing with water, so it is named.
At an altitude of 182 meters, it is a famous mountain spring in Fangcheng and the source of Pan River, one of the largest rivers in Fangcheng. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Panhe was a transit station for South ships and North horses, which contained rich historical and commercial culture. It is said that in the past, the spring was huge. In the dry season of Panhe River, they could also sail south to Jianghan. Later, because of the gap between the merchants of Fangcheng and the downstream credit shop village, the credit shop people built a bridge on the bed of manliu village to block the merchant ship of Fangcheng. The merchants of Fangcheng blocked the spring with cauldrons and forced the underground spring to change its course. From then on, the spring water decreased sharply, and the credit shop was also difficult to sail After liberation, it was excavated four times, and it is difficult to recover. After treatment, the water area is 2934 square meters, the average water depth is 2 meters, there are 6 spring mouths, the diameter is 0.2-0.4 meters, the water inflow is 0.30 second cubic meters, and the water temperature is stable between 14-16 ℃ all the year round. There is a black dragon temple on the north slope of the spring.
