Tangjing site

The ancient well is located in the south of the street of jiuchenggong Palace City, near the main buildings in the palace. It was an important drinking well in the palace. The mouth of the well is round and carved with exquisitely designed star anise sunflowers. One is beautiful, the other is anti-skid. A circular inclined plane is carved between the inner and outer edges, and the whole shaft platform is built with fine light green stone. The surface of the well platform is slightly spherical convex, high inside and low outside, so as to prevent the backflow of turbid water and ensure the drinking water sanitation.
