The big tree "king of azalea" is located in Datang Village, Jietou Township, north of Tengchong County, on the hillside of Gaoligong Mountain, where thousands of peaks are emerald. Among more than 800 kinds of rhododendrons in the world, it has the largest tree shape and the largest flower. It is called "the king of big tree Rhododendron" by scientists.

As early as more than 60 years ago, it was displayed in the British Royal Museum, which caused a sensation in the world botanical circles. The disc specimen of Rhododendron was taken from the primeval forest of Jietou Datang in Tengchong County.
