Also known as Songyan mountain, it is located 7.5km west of Huangyan District, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, behind Songyan village, Jiaokeng township. The scenic spot on the mountain is composed of lianjianping, Shida peak, Daishi temple and Shifeng cave. Passing by Shibapan to TIANTI, two peaks stand on the wall, which is very dangerous. The steep peak is more than 100 feet high, and there are more than 420 stairs carved with stones in the middle, each of which only contains one foot. The scenic spots of Songyan mountain are mainly distributed in the front and back ends of Songyan mountain, belonging to the front mountain scenic spot and the back mountain scenic spot. Qianshan Scenic Area is mainly centered on lianjianping and Shida of Lianfeng mountain and Daishi mountain, surrounded by elephant trunk rock and leech rock. There are many beautiful sceneries, such as zhaojingyan, wuguiyan, aixiangting, etc. Daishi temple and other scenes. Qianshan Scenic area covers an area of 120.75 hectares. Houshan scenic area, with housi as the center, extends to fanyankeng bamboo forest in the north and Qiansi in the East, covering an area of 43 hectares. At the junction of the two areas is the waterfall and ladder landscape belt mainly composed of yunpian waterfall and TIANTI, with an area of 4075 hectares. Three independent scenic spots constitute a complete scenic area of Songyan mountain, with a total area of 214.50 hectares. The main scenic spots of Songyan mountain are the four unique scenic spots of Songyan, namely TIANTI, yunpian waterfall, lianjianping and Shida peak. Among them, TIANTI is dangerous and narrow, yunpian waterfall is lingering, beautiful and charming, lianjianping mountain is dangerous, with an altitude of 330 meters, and Shida is solemn and powerful, which makes Songyan mountain attractive.

Culture

Songyanshan scenic area has a long history of human activities. As early as the Neolithic age, human beings have survived, and many Liangzhu Cultural sites have been unearthed in xiaolihui. Citrus planting began in the Three Kingdoms, with a history of more than 1700 years. A large number of exquisite celadon products have been produced in Shapu in the south of the mountain from the Five Dynasties to the Northern Song Dynasty. In addition, tombs of the Shang Dynasty have been found, which is an early development of human culture It's one of the most important areas in the world.

The religious culture of Songyan mountain is profound. In the northern and Southern Dynasties, the Dai stone temple was built during the reign of Emperor Wu of the Song Dynasty (420); in the Yuan Dynasty (1314-1368), the eminent monk Qiu Jiang successively built Falun Temple (front Temple) and Changji Temple (back Temple) on the top of Songyan mountain. In its heyday, there were three or four hundred monks.

Qiujiang, a monk of the Yuan Dynasty, built Falun Temple (front Temple) in 1315. In 1930, master Dixian, a famous monk, rebuilt the rear temple. Lianjianping, also known as Tianzhu peak, is surrounded by cliffs and precipices. The stones are clustered like lotus flowers. Only the south side of the cliff is covered with bamboo ladders. The top of the terrace is about 6 mu. Tianfeng pavilion was built in the middle of Yongle period of Ming Dynasty and expanded in 1987. Shiqiao fish pond, fresh and elegant, Chengjiang orange forest, panoramic view. Two hundred year old sisters became monks here. In Pingnan, there are stone carvings of "the first mountain of Chaoxi" and "Tianfeng Shengjing" in the Qing Dynasty. There are cliff carvings of "yuexingxianhuachu" more than 30 meters below the southeast cliff. Each character is 50 cm high and 30 cm wide. Shida Ren peak is more than 100 meters high. It looks like a giant standing with a boy on his back. Surrounded by cliffs, it is towering and towering. It moves around with different postures. It is also known as a wonder of Taizhou with Wenling Shida Ren peak. The Daishi temple at the foot of the mountain was built in the Yongchu period of the Southern Song Dynasty (420-422). It was first worshipped by Dong Zhongshu of the Western Han Dynasty, and later worshipped by Daishi. It was rebuilt in 1869. There are more than 40 front halls, main halls and back halls, 7 stone statues, 5 stone inscriptions, 1 pair of stone lions and 1 stage. The main hall is carved with beams and painted buildings, with double eaves on the top of the mountain and black tiles. Shifeng cave, located on the hillside of Daishi mountain, is 8 meters deep and 6 meters wide. Six pillars hold up the boulders at the top of the cave. In the 34th year of Qianlong (1769), monk Huitong began to build the Buddhist hall according to the cave, and rebuilt it in 1940. Outside the temple, there are 8 cypresses more than 10 meters high, which are hugged by two or three people. Surrounded by peaks, lush trees. Songyan mountain is known as "little wild goose in orange town".
