Hero rock is located on the west side of Riguang rock. Geographically, it is the southwest coastal protrusion of Gulangyu Island, guarding the estuary of Jiulong River, with an altitude of 66 meters. It is said that when Zheng Chenggong was training the navy in riguangyan, the array of banners was inserted from riguangyan all the way to this mountain, so this mountain was originally called "Qiwei mountain".
