Erdaobaihe area is located in the south of Antu County, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, at the foot of Changbai Mountain, with dense forests. Its geographical coordinates are 127 ° 53 ′ - 128 ° 34 ′ e, 42 ° 01 ′ - 42 ° 48 ′ n. The region borders Helong city in the East, Baishan City in the west, Dunhua City in the north, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea across the river in the south. The whole region is a strip from southeast to northwest, accounting for 4.4% of the total area of 43509 square kilometers in Yanbian Prefecture. The average altitude of Baihe area is 800 meters. The climate is cold in winter and cool in summer. It is especially suitable for the growth of Korean pine, white birch and other cold resistant plants, covering an area of 1987.95 square kilometers.

There are more than 120 kinds of plants and more than 30 kinds of trees with high economic value, such as Pinus koraiensis, Larix olgensis, oak, Fraxinus mandshurica, Juglans mandshurica, etc., with an average annual output of about 300000 cubic meters. The grassland covers an area of 12342 hectares, 49.2 km wide from east to west and 64.8 km long from north to south, with a ring shape in the East. The total population of Baihe area is more than 60000, of which the ethnic minorities account for 15% of the total population.

Erdaobaihe area covers an area of 5 km from north to South and 3 km from east to west. Because of the existence of four different administrative units, it can be divided into four regions

There is a small town in Antu County called Erdaobaihe town,

1. Erdaobaihe Town, also known as chibei District, is the government seat of Changbai Mountain protection and Development Zone Management Committee.

2. Baihe Forestry Bureau is a forestry enterprise, located in the north and east of Erdao town. There is a meirensong Park in the central area.

3. Changbai Mountain Protection Bureau is an institution managing Changbai Mountain National Nature Reserve, directly under the Forestry Department of Jilin Province. It is located in the south of Erdao Town, next to the virgin forest of the nature reserve, and there is a Changbai Mountain Nature Museum nearby.

4. Baihe railway station is located in the northeast of Erdaobaihe area, which is the seat of Erdao town government. Baihe station is a railway station, and the new railway connects Helong. There are trains leading to Tonghua, Shenyang and Changchun at Baihe station. The newly built highway passenger station is near the railway station, which is the main road and railway traffic of Erdaobaihe town.

Erdaobaihe town is located at the foot of Changbai Mountain, known as "the first town of Changbai Mountain". It is 35 kilometers away from the core landscape of Changbai Mountain and 65 kilometers away from the border of shuangmufeng. It is the gateway to Changbai Mountain. The administrative area is about 1115 square kilometers, with 8 villages, 15722 households and 48972 people under its jurisdiction. At present, there are 654 hectares of cultivated land (including 552 hectares of dry land and 102 hectares of paddy land), 38.7 hectares of town owned forest land and 839 hectares of grassland.

Because the settlement is located on both sides of the Erdaobai River, it is named "Erdaobai River". Because it has the same name with the river, it was renamed "Erdao" in 1983. Baoma is the site of Xingzhou city in the Bohai kingdom of Tang Dynasty, and hepingyingzi belongs to the Yin Department of nuzhenna in Jianzhou of Ming Dynasty. Qingshi town is its birthplace. Erdaobaihe town is located at the foot of Changbai Mountain, which is known as "the first town of Changbai Mountain".

Activity breakdown:

One is the theme snow sculpture scenic spot "the city of Moonlight".

Form of activity: with "silver film" as the theme, we invited excellent domestic planning team and construction team to build a "Moonlight City" theme snow sculpture scenic spot in Erdaobaihe town Wetland Park, covering an area of 5 hectares and using 100000 cubic meters of snow. Montage art will be used to show classic movie images and scenes in different time and different regions in the form of snow sculpture.

The purpose of the activity: in the "city of Moonlight", excellent works of art of the second national and international snow sculpture competition will be displayed at the same time to bring tourists unique ice and snow experience and cultural enjoyment.

Second, the large-scale ice and snow entertainment scenic spot "Happy Valley".

The main form of activity is to build a comprehensive ice and snow recreation area covering an area of 2 hectares in the "city of Moonlight" scenic area.

Objective: to provide winter outdoor entertainment for tourists, such as skiing circle, skating, sledding, ice car, ice bumper car, snow motorcycle, snow kart, etc.

Third, family snow sculpture and snowman fun competition.

Time: December 27 to December 31, 2015.

12. Sled dog sled race.
