The park is a cultural park with the theme of "carving" of shenyunxia, reflecting the theme of "poetic scenery of shenyunxia".

It is located in the middle of the Expo Park, facing water on three sides, with a total area of 100 mu. The main tour route is Xu Xiake's travel notes. Centering on the essence and context of Xu Xiake's tourism culture, as well as Xu Xiake's growth experience, tourism footprints, historical achievements and comments of future generations, the spirit of Xu Xiake and the connotation of Xu Xiake's tourism culture are embodied in the form of inscription art. More than 150 pieces of works of famous calligraphers in China are displayed in the park, including Premier Wen Jiabao's congratulatory letter. The stele art exhibition wall is more than 2000 meters, about 5000 square meters, with more than 10 different materials and carving techniques, such as stone, pottery, brick, bamboo, wood and copper. In the park, there are "China's first" art landscapes, such as China's first seal, China's first brush, China's first inkstone, China's first book, etc.
