Pan Hannian's former residence has become dilapidated due to disrepair for a long time. It is the common wish of the people of Yixing, the people of the whole country and even international friends to restore pan Hannian's former residence as a revolutionary traditional education base. In order to conform to the people's will, Geng Xiaorong, the founder, set up a preparatory office in March 1999 to repair pan Hannian's former residence.

Introduction to former residence

The preparatory work has been highly valued and supported by the party and government organs at all levels. The former residence was designed by Suzhou landscape design institute. The first phase of the project started on March 8, 2001 and was basically completed in August that year. Now it is open to the outside world, adding a revolutionary traditional education base to Yixing.

The completion of the first phase project of Pan Hannian's former residence is only half of the restoration project. The second phase of the project is now seriously affected by the lack of funds.

Profile

In pan Hannian, Su Yixing came back to his hometown. In 1924, he edited flood. In 1925, he joined the Communist Party of China. He served as the general manager of the Revolutionary Army Daily, chief of the propaganda section of the General Political Department of the National Revolutionary Army, Secretary of the Cultural Work Committee of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, Secretary of the CPC leading group of the left wing cultural general League, director of the Propaganda Department of the Central Bureau of the Jiangxi Soviet Area of the CPC, director of the propaganda department and director of the local Work Department of the General Political Department of the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army, etc. In 1936, he served as a negotiator between the Chinese Communist Party and the Kuomintang. In September 1937, he served as director of the Eighth Route Army's Shanghai office. During the Anti Japanese War and the war of liberation, he led the underground struggle against the enemy and carried out the United Front Work in Shanghai and other places. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, he served as director of the Department of society and the Department of United Front Work of the East China Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, deputy secretary and third secretary of the Shanghai municipal Party committee, and vice mayor of Shanghai. On April 3, 1955, he was sentenced for "traitor". He died in 1977. Before he died, he and his wife, Ms. Dong Hui, were under house arrest at the Mijiang tea farm in Chaling, Hunan Province (the third reform through labor farm in Hunan Province). In August 1982, he was rehabilitated by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Pan Han was born in Luping village, Yixing County, Jiangsu Province on January 12, 1906. He joined the Communist Party of China in the autumn of 1925. In 1928, he began to be responsible for the work of the cultural united front, and in the early 1930s, he was responsible for the work of the Kuomintang local strength faction. After the Zunyi Meeting, he went to Shanghai to resume work in the white area and get through with the Communist International. In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, he successfully carried out the United Front Work in Shanghai's industrial and commercial circles. Comrade Mao Zedong spoke highly of Pan Hannian's outstanding contributions to the United Front Work at the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China and on some occasions. Throughout his life, Comrade Pan Hannian has made great contributions to the cause of the united front of the party. He is loyal to the party, firm in principle, brilliant, resourceful and resolute. He is engaged in the most extensive united front work, including cultural, military, political and economic aspects. He has always been fighting in the front line, and has excellently completed various arduous tasks assigned by the party every time. Comrade Pan Hannian has made outstanding achievements in deeply uniting friends outside the party and striving for middle forces, especially in carrying out the work of United Front figures at the upper level, showing superb policy level, outstanding organizational ability, consistent democratic style and sincere friendship. After the founding of new China, Comrade Pan Hannian also created a set of unique working methods in the United Front Work for the people in the industrial and commercial circles. He had a deep understanding of the situation in the industrial and commercial circles. In August 1982, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the "notice on rehabilitating pan Hannian and restoring his reputation", which solemnly declared to the whole party that it was wrong to define pan Hannian as a "traitor" and to arrest, sentence and expel him from the party. " The notice announced that "the original conclusion of the party's examination of Comrade Pan Hannian shall be revoked, and the Supreme People's court shall be requested to revoke the original judgment in accordance with the law, so as to rehabilitate Comrade Pan Hannian and restore his party membership; his historical achievements shall be recognized and his reputation shall be restored publicly. All comrades who have been wrongly dealt with because of the pan case should be reviewed by the relevant organs in a practical and realistic way.
