Fuxing Bridge
brief introduction
Fuxing Bridge is located in Taofeng stream, houzhuo village, Xitianwei Town, Licheng District, Putian City, Fujian Province. In 1936, local people raised funds to rebuild the stone arch bridge. The bridge is 16.5 meters long, 2.1 meters wide and 0.60 meters high, with stone railings on both sides. There are two stone lion pillars at the end of the bridge, which are powerful and lifelike (as shown in the picture). The stone arch bridge has three spans and two piers, and the net length of each span is 3.5m. There is a Cihang Pavilion beside the bridge, behind which is Wenchang Pavilion. The murals of Wenchang Pavilion are Guan shengdijun, Wenchang Dijun and Wuqu Xinjun. In the west of the pavilion, Guanyin Bodhisattva is worshipped, elegant and quiet. There is also a "ancient Zi Baorong" beside the Qiaoting River, which is verdant and towering, adding vitality to the bridge.
