Ziqingshan

Ziqing mountain is located at the foot of the west side of Hongya Danjing in Meiling, Wanli District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. It is a scenic spot with caves, streams hanging in the cave, waterfall curtains and blue pool water.

Scenic spots

In the scenic area, there are huge stones piled on top of each other. The spring water is clear, the pines and white clouds are green, and the vines are everywhere. It is a beautiful natural scenery. Looking up from the high, the mountains are far away, the fields and valleys are beautiful, the mountain ports and forests are flat, the capital houses and the outline of the rivers are all in the view.

Historical legend

When Guo Pu and Xu Xun visited the western mountains together, there was a couplet in his poems about immortals, that is, "Fuqiu sleeve on the left, Hongya shoulder on the right...", in which "Fuqiu sleeve" refers to Sakyamuni Sleeping Buddha on the back of Ziqing mountain. The Taoist "Yunji Qizhan" called Meiling "the twelfth cave" and "the twenty blessed places", which showed the prevalence of Taoism in Meiling at that time. The Ziqing palace in the original scenic spot is one of the "seven grand public temples" in Meiling, ranking second only to Xishan Yulong Longevity Palace. Since the end of the Western Han Dynasty, celebrities such as Guo Pu, Xu Xun, ou Yangxiu, Zeng Gong, Huang Tingjian, Yue Fei and Liu Yan have come here to visit and write poems. There are also many legends left by Tang Dynasty scholar Zhang Yun, late Yuan and early Ming Dynasty Chen Youliang and Qing Dynasty cabinet elder Xu Huiyuan.

The whole journey takes about 1 hour, and the ticket price is 2 yuan.
