Number one scholar peak

Zhuangyuanfeng, also known as xiaozhongshan. The top of Zhuangyuan peak is 534 meters above sea level. Here you can see: the surrounding mountains are full of clouds, mountains and marshes, the Liyu lake is blue on a sunny day, and the streams meander among the mountains; the East China Sea is vast and indistinct, and the islands are looming. Visitors are suspicious of entering Yingzhou on the sea. There is a huge stone at the top of Zhuangyuan peak, called Canghai stone, which is covered with fossils of shellfish in the sea. As a historical witness of the vicissitudes of life, Canghai stone has aroused endless reverie. There are many strange rocks on the mountain, and the trees are green all the year round. Yangchang trail, stone path deep, climbing up, you can see the whole city. After liberation, it used to be the campus of primary and secondary schools, and now it is located in Zhongshan Park.

In the winter of the 16th year of Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty, Xu Shenjin, the magistrate of Fuyang County, wrote the word "Zhuangyuan peak" in calligraphy, so it is also called "Zhuangyuan peak". Wenchang Pavilion was once built at the foot of the mountain, Zhongshan temple on the left, Fengxiang nunnery on the right, and pavilions such as wanggaolou and Zhonglou on the top of the mountain. On the other hand, the "Zhonglou Ji" on the top of the mountain and the stone carvings inscribed by Liang cunshi (former principal of Zhongshan middle school) in Xingye county are still beautiful.
