Li'an Temple
Li'an temple is called Yongquan temple in ancient times, because there is "Fayu spring" which is as famous as hupaoquan in the temple, also known as Fayu temple. It is located beside the ancient road of yangmeiling village in Hangzhou Jiuxi scenic area.
Li'an temple was called "Yongquan Temple" in ancient times. It was named after the mountain spring "Fayu spring", which is as famous as Hupao spring. In the Ming and Five Dynasties, the eminent monk Fu huzhifeng once lived here, and the king of Wu and Yue built the temple for it. In its heyday, the temple was large-scale and ornate, with Mountain Gate, imperial stele Pavilion, Maitreya hall, Mahatma hall, Zen hall, Dharma hall, sutra library, abbot, qizhuan, Songwei Pavilion and other buildings. The unique architectural style and the elegant landscape around have inspired countless literati and left many poems here. Li'an Temple scenic spot is located in Hangzhou Jiuxi scenic area beside the ancient road of yangmeiling village.
