Qianmen Jianlou was built in 1439, which has a history of more than 450 years. In Ming and Qing Dynasties, Jianlou was once connected with the wall of Zhengyangmen tower, forming a large urn. After the Republic of China, the urn was gradually demolished, and the majestic archery tower stood alone at the south end of Tiananmen Square, facing Zhengyang gate tower across the street.
