It was built in 1911. It is surrounded by mountains, with its back against the cross treasure mountain and thousands of mu of fertile land. The forest in the mountain is deep, the leaves are luxuriant, the nose is filled with rosin, and the ring mirror is beautiful. It is a famous pilgrimage place far and near, and also a rare retreat place. It is said that the Virgin Mary once appeared here, so it is named.

Human history

It is a Roman style building with a total construction area of about 3420 square meters and more than 80 houses. It is mainly used to train Catholic clergy. There are more than 350 students, of whom more than 80 are called by the God and honored by the priests. In the summer of 1939, Chiang Kai Shek and his wife, Soong Mei Ling, visited the place and praised it as "a blessed place.".

present situation

Ten years of havoc, the church has not been spared, part of the building was damaged, has not yet been repaired, only the ruins. The church is now a Catholic training base.
