Nanshan is located in the south of Urumqi and the vast mountainous area at the foot of kalawucheng North Mountain in the North Tianshan Mountains. Nanshan ranch is 75 kilometers away from the urban area and is located in the transition zone between middle and low mountains, with an altitude of 2252 meters. Here, the snow peaks are towering, the hills are rolling, the trees are luxuriant, the flowers and plants are everywhere, the water and spring are murmuring, the cattle and sheep are flocking, and the yurt is dotted with charming scenery. In particular, dozens of large and small valleys parallel distributed from west to East in the mountainous area are excellent natural pastures, which are all summer resorts. Among them, the more famous places are xibaiyanggou, etc.

Nanshan scenic spot is a provincial scenic spot which is located in the extremely arid area in the hinterland of Asia and Europe. It is characterized by ice and snow landscape, lush forest and grass, peculiar rocks, superior tourism climate, high mountain forest and pastoral scenery and rich ethnic customs, and shows the modern human landscape. The scenic spot is located about 70 kilometers south of Shihezi City, which is the remnant of Tianshan Mountains. Each scenic spot has the commonness of the natural landscape of the northern slope of Tianshan Mountain, but the individuality is also obvious. Here, the roads are winding, the mountains are steep, the valleys are crisscross, the peaks are beautiful, the trees are towering, the springs are green, the flowers are fragrant and the birds are singing. Hunting Area

Nanshan in Urumqi was a famous hunting area in the Tang Dynasty and a famous ranch in the Qing Dynasty. As for summer tourism, it started as early as the Qing Dynasty. After liberation, the tourism and recuperation industry here has made great progress. In 1989, the region was officially approved by the government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region as an autonomous region level scenic spot. There is an endless stream of tourists at home and abroad, and has received many foreign countries The head of state and the leaders of the party and state have a certain reputation at home and abroad. Foreign friends are used to golf. The scenic spot is called "Nanshan Ranch" in Urumqi.

Landscape Tourism Area

Nanshan chrysanthemum terrace is a Kazakh grassland pastoral landscape tourism area characterized by growing large golden chrysanthemums. It is a gently sloping alluvial fan platform with an altitude of 2000-2400m. The valley is generally 80-120 meters below the platform surface. The stream at the bottom of the valley is winding. The shady slope is covered with spruce and the sunny slope is covered with green grass. The top of the platform is flat and broad, with a width of 300-500 meters and a length of 5-6 kilometers.

In spring and summer, there are golden chrysanthemums, rough lavender, Ranunculus and Arnebia, fragrant flowers, bees and butterflies, horses and sheep all over the slope, showing a typical Tianshan grassland scenery. The Zhongliang observatory on the east side of Juhua station is equipped with the zhongliyuan Urumqi Observatory, which is in line with the international observation level. It is the largest radio telescope with a diameter of 25 meters in China. Visitors can watch the wind from far away. The proposed international ski resort is also located on the Zhongliang platform.

Ancient temple

Dazi temple was originally called Mongolian temple. According to legend, when the Mongol army of the Yuan Dynasty marched to the west, Genghis Khan led hundreds of thousands of cavalry to pass by. He saw the snow capped mountain top, the clouds floating on the mountainside, the birds singing together and the animals singing together. Khan, who fought in the Gobi desert all his life, was intoxicated by such charming scenery. At this time, a portable Lama knelt down and asked to build a temple here to ensure the success of the army. Khan immediately issued a decree, so an oriental Temple rose and remained for later generations. Mongolian Temple (Dazi Temple) has gone through many vicissitudes, no longer exists, leaving only a place name, but the surrounding scenery is still charming.
