brief introduction

Nanhu Wetland Park is located in the south of south 2nd Ring Road, the west of Zhaojun Road, the north of daheihe River and the east of shaliang village in Hohhot city. It is a low-lying land in Hohhot city. It is now a fish pond, sand pit and grassland.

Nanhu Wetland Park, with a planning area of 1165 hectares (17475 mu), is divided into three areas according to its functions: 558 hectares of grassland scenic area, 425 hectares of wetland landscape area and 182 hectares of riverside project area. The first phase of the project covers an area of 606 hectares.

The landscape planning of grassland scenic area takes the development history of Mongolian as the main line. Through the changes of Mongolian lifestyle and economic development, people can appreciate the unique charm of Inner Mongolia grassland culture, customs and customs. From the folk custom tourist area where the Mongolian people live by water to the pastoral scenery area where the nomadic people live, this paper makes a perfect interpretation of the Mongolian catering, entertainment, history and culture, so that people can experience the grassland culture without leaving the room.

Development history

Wetland is a transitional ecosystem between water ecosystem and terrestrial ecosystem. It is a complex formed by water land interaction and one of the important life support systems on earth. Many plants and birds, mammals, amphibians and invertebrates depend on it for survival. Wetland plays an irreplaceable role in flood storage and drought prevention, pollution degradation, water purification, runoff mitigation and climate regulation.

Main attractions

Wetland landscape area reflects the chemical and biological classification of water purification and different wetland landscape according to the water depth. It includes the ecological degradation and sewage purification area with the function of science popularization and education; the ecological sightseeing area displaying all kinds of wetland landscape; the water activity area mainly focusing on the raw water park; and the water family displaying fishermen's life. Through the construction of the above areas, flood regulation and storage can be achieved, natural disasters can be prevented, groundwater can be supplied and water resources can be maintained
