The old Shenyang Museum is the first museum reflecting the history and folk customs of Shenyang. It is located on the third floor of Laobei Cultural Park and opened on September 29, 2012

The museum is divided into eight pavilions, including Shengjing memory hall, Fengtian memory hall, red memory hall, industrial and commercial memory hall, folk memory hall and Beishi memory hall, displaying nearly 10000 pieces of folk collections from Shenyang.

Collection

Through the use of sculptures, models and large background boxes, the museum vividly reproduces the main historical events and customs of old Shenyang and tells the story of old Shenyang

. Shenyang's historical culture and folk culture with the characteristics of Guandong are displayed. Shenyang's historical relics, folk art and living objects are displayed. There are eight exhibition halls, including source memory, Shengjing memory, Fengtian memory, black memory, red memory, time-honored brand memory, Laobei city memory and folk memory

. The main time span is the Qing Dynasty, the Republic of China, the puppet Manchukuo period

. The museum will also make use of modern exhibition means such as multimedia, acousto-optic and so on

. And in the middle of the big platform will set up a large wrestling field
