Bian Wannian's old house is located at No.57 Yunnan Road, Heping District, Tianjin urban and county cultural relics protection unit. It is a key protection grade historic building, and is now an office building. Bian Wannian, born in Yizheng, Jiangsu Province, is a doctor of Peking Union Medical College and the son of Bian Baimei, a famous banker. He came to Tianjin in the 1940s to set up Enguang hospital in the British concession and served as the president. The building covers an area of about 1200 square meters, with a construction area of about 800 square meters. It is a two-story building of brick and wood structure. The courtyard is narrow and long. The building plane is rectangular, and the gables face the street. The architectural modeling draws lessons from the characteristics of British dwellings. The multi-level and large angle sloping roof makes the building facade small and unique, full of changes. The red tile sloping roof and sulfur jar brick fair water wall make the overall color of the building harmonious, warm and pleasant The interior wood floor, fireplace and other decorations reflect the taste of the host and are well preserved.
