XuanZhen view
XuanZhen temple, originally known as "Li Zhushi Temple", is a brick and tile civil structure. It was built in the Zhengde period of Ming Dynasty (1506-1521). Due to its long history, it was rebuilt in 1939. It covers an area of 1300 square meters, with two entrances. There is a room next to it, with three official characters of "XuanZhen Temple" on the front, and the main temple of XuanZhen temple on the back, with a large plaque of "master Buddha" hanging on it, and a wooden Buddha statue inside. There are two pairs of stone horses and stone sheep in front of Li Jie's tomb. The stone beast is exquisitely carved, natural and lifelike.
The XuanZhen temple is hidden in the forest, with its back against the green mountains and facing the Yao Lake. When it was rebuilt in 1939, it was changed to XuanZhen. It was rebuilt again in 1990. It is said that Zhang Cong studied under Li Jie in Yaoxi when he was a boy. Li Jie ascended to Jinshi in the sixth year of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty (1511) and was promoted to yuanwailang, then retired.
