The meaning of a name

On the one hand, the naming of the red expert factory is of spiritual significance. The original cannery was built in 1956, which was an era of both red and expert, vigorous spirit and high will. English "redory" is a combination of red and factory, full of fashion and creativity.

From factory to Creative Park

Guangzhou Redtory / Art and design factory is the largest cannery in China, which was built in 1956. CAD in CBD

Guangzhou Redtory / Art and design factory is located in the east of the CBD central axis of Zhujiang New Town, Tianhe District, Guangzhou city. It is located in the northwest of the Pearl River Estuary, with a line of river scenery on the North Bank of the Pearl River. It faces Pazhou International Convention and Exhibition Center across the river in the South and Tianhe business circle in the north. It is a rare living experience area in the city center integrating the flavor of the times, art, creativity and culture. It forms a horizontal cultural axis with Xinghai Concert Hall, Guangdong Art Museum, Haixinsha square, Guangzhou Grand Theater, New Museum of Guangdong Province, new library of Guangzhou, the second children's palace and Guangzhou TV Tower.

With a total area of 170000 square meters, the park has old buildings built from the 1950s to the 1980s and 1990s, among which dozens of Soviet style buildings of different sizes are the most prominent. This "three section" structure, which is composed of eaves, wall body and plinth, is axisymmetric in left and right, regular in plane, high in the middle and low on both sides. The main building is towering, open and cool, warm in winter and cool in summer. Green area accounts for half of the total area, and each row of buildings alternates with more than 20 meters, with tall trees and 500 parking spaces.
