Huangsongyu reservoir

Huangsongyu reservoir is located at the mouth of huangsongyu village at the foot of the Great Wall in the northeast of Pinggu. It was completed in June 1971. 216000 cubic meters of earthwork have been completed. The total storage capacity is 10.4 million cubic meters, and the controlled drainage area is 49 square kilometers. There are 1 main dam, 1 spillway and 3 power stations. The main dam is Zheng gravity dam with a maximum height of 48m and a crest length of 185m. The total installed capacity of the power station is 439 kW. The irrigation area is 20000 mu. In the north of the reservoir area, there are some scenic spots, such as lake, cave water, a line of sky and so on.
