Tianxin District Library

Tianxin District Library, the full name of Changsha Tianxin District Public Library, was founded in July 2005, is the first district level Public Library in Changsha. The main responsibilities are: collection, collation, preservation, development of cultural collections and local literature, providing books borrowing and information consulting services. The library, which was opened to the public on August 28, 2008, integrates the functions of district electronic science and Technology Library, Party School Library and Tianxin No.1 middle school library. It is one of the regional branch centers of the national cultural information resource sharing project.

Introduction of Tianxin District Library

Located at 218 Huangtuling Road, Tianxin District, Changsha City, the Library covers an area of 2120 square meters and has a collection of more than 100000 books, including 60000 paper books, more than 200 newspapers and periodicals and 40000 e-books. There are book reading room, electronic reading room, periodical reading room, multimedia demonstration hall, children's reading room, local literature room, back issue room and other service windows in the library. There are 320 reading seats to provide readers with various services, such as books and periodicals, electronic literature reading and lending, literature retrieval, reference consultation, film and television appreciation, expert lectures, reports and so on. It can receive 120000 readers and circulate 100000 books every year.
