Yinxin stone house

The stone carving of Yinxin stone house is located in the southwest of Baihe spring and on the right side of the stone path of climbing Yunlu peak. It is also known as "Yushu Pavilion". Today, the abandoned stone carving of the pavilion still exists. It is a huge white marble plaque embedded on the gable. It is 0.93 meters high and 2.88 meters wide. It is carved with four big characters of "Yinxin stone house" in regular script. It is dignified, simple, elegant and powerful. On the left side of the plaque is engraved "Daoguang Yiwei Qiuyue", on the right side is engraved "Yubi", "Tao Shu, the Minister of Liangjiang governor of the Ministry of war of the prince Shaobao, leads Gongmo", and on the top center is engraved "the treasure of Daoguang". The surrounding is decorated with the pattern of Erlong Xizhu.

Introduction

Tao Shu (1778-1839), a native of Anhua, Hunan Province, was named Zi Lin and Yun ting. When he was young, he studied in Yuelu Academy, and later became governor of Liangjiang. Daoguang Yiwei (1835), Tao Shu came to Beijing, Emperor Daoguang summoned, asked about family background. Tao Shu said that when he was a child, he studied with his father, Mr. Yujiang, beside the Yinxin stone. Daoguang wrote "Yinxin stone house" to give it. Tao Shu was proud of his work, and he copied it in many scenic spots. The "Yinxin stone house" in Yuelu Mountain was carved by Zhao Zhuquan in 1838, which is recorded by he Xiling and is no longer in existence.
