Baiquan ancient well is located in Baiquan ancient well, which is recorded in Yu Di Ji Sheng, covering an area of 150 square meters

Located in yuetangjiao village of Baiquan farm, 2.2km away from Baiquan office. According to Wang Xiangzhi of the Southern Song Dynasty's Yu Di Ji Sheng: "Baiquan mountain is in the northwest of Hanyang county. There is Jingde temple at the foot of the mountain. There is a well in the temple, and the roots of ancient cypresses are in it. " The ancient well was built in the late Tang Dynasty and the early Song Dynasty. It covers an area of 150 square meters. The well platform is hexagonal and stone built. The well fence is carved with red sandstone. The inner circle of the well head is 70cm in diameter. The well body is built with grey bricks. The well is 3.5m deep and 3M deep. The water is clear, cool and sweet. The ancient well wonders are recorded in the annals of the past dynasties. "Hanyang county annals" contains: "it is said that Yu Zhibai Dabie Mountain (today's Guishan) head, rooted in Baiquan well, hence the name. Today, native people can still see two roots in a well. They look like double carp. They gush out from the opposite side of the spring like fish playing in the water. In case of drought, they are still used by dozens of villages. " The literati sang about it and wrote excellent works. In Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, Zhao Bi, a teacher of Hanyang County, wrote a poem named "Baiquan" (Bai Quan), "the shadow is clear, the sky is clear, the jade is bright, the moss is sealed, the stone is pale, the water is fresh, and the fragrance of cypress is high." Zhang Sanyi, the magistrate of Shaoxing, and the local sage, the Jinshi of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty, wrote the song of Baijing. It was repaired twice in 1989 and 1997. In 1983, it was announced as a municipal cultural relics protection unit.
