Song he Zhai

Songhezhai is located in the east of the main hall of the summer resort. It was built in 1749. The Empress Dowager (Qianlong's mother) and his concubines lived here.

At that time, the third scene of "thirty six scenes of Qianlong" was named by Emperor Qianlong with the meaning of "pine and crane live longer".

The name of the building. To the east of the East Palace of Rehe summer resort in Qing Dynasty, qinggaozong built Songhe scenic area for Empress Dowager in 1749. There were eight courtyards and 162 halls. There are five gates and three gates. There are seven front halls in the two gates, which are called Songhe Zhai. Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty named it the third of the thirty-six sceneries and renamed it Hanhui hall in 1806. In the north of the hall is Suicheng hall, seven rooms wide, with a single eaves and a rolling shed roof. In the 57th year of Qianlong's reign, it was renamed Jide hall and given to its emperor's 15th son, Yan Yan, who later became emperor Renzong of the Qing Dynasty. After the 20th year of Daoguang (1840), the portraits of the emperors of the Qing Dynasty provided by Yongyou temple were moved here. In the north of Suicheng hall, there are 15 rooms for lighting, and in the north there are three doors. In the north, there are seven rooms of Le Shou Tang, the palace of the empress dowager, which was renamed Yue Xing Ju in the 11th year of Jiaqing. In the north of leshoutang, there are five Changyuan buildings, two floors up and down, similar to the main palace Yunshan resort building. Over the building is the Chuihua gate, north of the gate for Wanhe pine wind.

This group of buildings includes gate hall, songhezhai (later renamed Hanhui Hall), Suicheng Hall (later renamed Jide Hall), seventeen rooms, leshoutang (later renamed yuexingju), Changyuan tower, etc. Suicheng hall was the place where emperor Jiaqing studied and lived when he was the prince. After 1832, it was dedicated to the throne of the emperors of the Qing Dynasty. Bushou hall is the residence of Empress Dowager Shengxian, and Jiaqing emperor often lived here in his later years. The shape of Changyuan building is the same as that of "Yunshan resort", which is a high point of view for viewing the lake scenery. There is a flower gate at the back of the building, which is called Wanhe SONGFENG hall.
