Qingling spring

Qingling spring is located in the east of Yuhuang Hall of dongzhenguan in Wufeng mountain scenic area of Jinan. It's named after the clear spring stirs the stone and the cold makes a sound. The water flows from the mouth of the stone dragon head on the cliff and falls into the stone square pool with a side length of 0.8 meters. After that, one of the veins flows westward through the overflow port, through the stone bridge into the "jade girl basin"; the other reaches the pool under the stone bridge in front of the Jade Emperor hall. Qingling spring is also surrounded by many famous historical springs, such as Qinglong and Baihu, forming a unique spring landscape.

Transportation:

(1) Drive southward along national highway 104 in the urban area for about 5 km - turn right at the junction of Guyun Lake (with signs) and drive for about 5 km.

(2) Take Changqing long-distance bus to Changqing, Changqing bus station to Changqing Wufeng town bus (about 40 minutes, 5 yuan), one hour's drive. After arriving at Wufeng Town, walk 3 kilometers eastward to Wufeng mountain scenic spot to visit Qingling spring.

The Qingling spring, hidden among the ancient temples on the green mountains, has a pure and cool temperament, which makes people feel pure and refined. No wonder the predecessors wrote: "to stop the dust, to clear the guest's heart.". Qingling spring, also known as Zhixian spring, is located in the east of Zhenguan Jade Emperor hall in Wufeng cave of Changqing. It is named after Qingling spring which excites stones and makes the sound of Qin. On the cliff bank above the spring, there is a "Qingling Pavilion". The four eaves of the pavilion fly up, the painted brackets are covered with glazed tiles, and the stone pillars are engraved with couplets: "dew drop cactus, cloud flow jade basin."

Qingling spring flows out of the stone dragon mouth and falls into the stone square pool. Then it winds westward through the overflow and falls into the "lian'erwan jade girl basin". Another vein flows to the west side of the pavilion, from the two stone dragon mouths, through the stone square pool, to the carved fence square pool in the Dragon King Hall, and then flows out from under the stone bridge in front of the Yuquan hall, forming a unique spring landscape.

Qingling spring is a kind of perennial spring. Its water quality is clear and sweet, boiling without scale. It has a light fragrance of cypress. The water contains a variety of trace elements needed by human body. It is known as the "first famous spring" in Wufeng mountain.
