Baiyunquan

Baiyunquan is one of the 72 springs in Jinan. It is located in Longdong scenic spot in the southeast of Jinan City, Shandong Province, at the end of horseshoe valley of Longdong, under the steep cliff from the northeast of the main peak of Baiyun Mountain to the west of the ridge. The steep cliff is about 15 meters high, and the lower part is concave. The spring flows out of the cave and converges into a small stone pool with an area of about 1 square meter. Then it flows into a large stone pool connected with the small pool, 20 meters long from north to South and 6 meters wide from east to west. It faces the cliff on one side and is made of stone on three sides.

In the pond, the green algae are floating, the water is clear and blue, and the drought is endless. The north side of the spring is Baiyun cave, also known as Baiyi immortal cave. The cave is more than 10 meters deep and 45 meters wide. It is said that a white immortal once lived here, so it is named. Here, the mountains are high and the valleys are deep, the trees are luxuriant, and the scenery is deep and beautiful. Baiyun Mountain is steep and lush, with white clouds often winding around the mountains and vast weather.
