Ancient temple site
According to textual research, the ancient temple site was originally a temple built in 502 A.D. in Nanliang period. Five eminent monks once preached Buddhism here. Later, due to the disrepair of various dynasties and the destruction of the cultural revolution after liberation, the temple collapsed. Now, only some debris and fragments of Buddhist utensils were left.
At the ancient temple site, tombs buried by the upper monks were recently found at the foot of yunban mountain on the west side of Tianchi. Recently, a 60 cm long and 40 cm square stone tower was excavated. It was built in the late Qing Dynasty.
