Yuhuang grottoes, the largest group of Grottoes in South China: the grottoes are located at the south foot of Makong mountain, seven kilometers west of Zhangjiajie City. It was donated to Li Jingkai, the native of Qing Dynasty. The cave is more than 300 meters long from east to west, with a total of 8 caves. It is divided into upper, middle and lower layers. There are 10 statues and more than 50 stone carvings. It is the largest cave group with the most complete preservation in Hunan Province and even in southern China. The spring along the MaoYan river is the most distinctive, especially the hot spring. The hot spring is on both sides of the ancient ferry in the lower reaches of Lishui River in Wentang town. The hot spring on the right bank is parallel to the river, and the water temperature is about 50 ℃. Local mountain people often wash and bathe here. The hot spring on the left bank is 20 meters higher than the river, the water temperature is 37-39 ℃, and the flow is more than 300 tons per hour.

1. Start from Zhangjiajie City to Wentang, drift Maoyan River (3 hours), and take a bus back to Zhangjiajie City in Huayan.
