Moon Lake

The lake of companion moon is a small artificial lake in the west of Zhaoqing city in Guangdong. Its name is in Honghu.

Moon Lake. The lake covers an area of 0.32 square kilometers, with a perimeter of 2.4 kilometers. The longest distance from east to west is about 0.92 kilometers, and the longest distance from north to south is about 0.5 kilometers. The companion Moon Lake does not belong to the star lake, it can only be regarded as an independent large pond, which can regulate the water level of the central lake in the East. There is an island in the lake.

Moon Lake Park

On the East Bank of the Moon Lake is the Moon Lake Park, one of the largest kite flying parks in the city. The park is backed by Xinghu West Road, covering an area of 4 hectares, and the lake bank is about 590 meters long. The south of the park is relatively open, with less trees and a large area of grassland. There are public fitness equipment, sculptures, buildings and structures. There are more kite flying people. There is a pavilion on the lake bank for people to rest. The north is narrow, with more trees, especially shrubs, which is not suitable for kite flying. There is yuepangwan cafe nearby. It is the only western restaurant with ocean theme in western Guangdong. The lakeshore is surrounded by highways. Apart from Xinghu West Road, most places along the roadside have apartments and villas.
