Xiaodongtian is Huang Gongwang's living place. Its furnishings are full of life atmosphere: kitchen stove, firewood and water tank, old eight immortals table in living room, wooden bed, wooden box and wardrobe on one side. And the teahouse connected with the small cave Langfang is built near the stream, with tea tables and wooden chairs. We can think of the artistic conception of Huang Gongwang drinking tea and listening to the spring here!

Introduction to scenic spots

The origin of "xiaodongtian" comes from a painting that Huang Gongwang painted when he was in his 80s. In the inscription of the painting, he described it as follows: "this is the different path of Fuchun mountain. You can build a hall in it, and you can enjoy the journey when you burn incense and cook tea in the spring and Autumn period. When the morning haze sunset, on the door rain window, or climb overlooking, or relying on the fence, I do not know the life experience in the world. He said, "little cave."

"Little cave", where visitors can sit down and enjoy the natural beauty around, can arouse the wonderful imagination and feeling of the moving artistic conception of the past. At the same time of enjoying the wild natural scenery, the tourists can understand the history of Huang Gongwang and the painting of Fuchun Mountain Residence.

"Xiaodongtian" is Huang Gongwang's room name, which was written by Mr. Huang Miaozi, a famous calligrapher and librarian of China literature and history museum. The portrait of Huang Gongwang hanging on the wall in front of the hall was painted by the famous painter Xu Juntao. The couplets on both sides are: the first couplet - Da Chi's chest is full of hills; the second couplet - Ju Ying knows Feng Lin in the world. It was written by Kong Zhongqi, a famous painter and professor of China Academy of fine arts. On both sides of the room are the daily necessities of the host. From these furnishings, we can roughly experience Huang Gongwang's simple seclusion life, and realize that Huang Gongwang is both a painter and a Taoist.
