Longevity Valley

Longevity Valley, also known as Aoshan longevity Valley, is located at the eastern foot of Nanshan Mountain. Its landform extends longitudinally in a valley shape according to the climbing trend. The total length of the valley line is 2300 meters, which can be called a tropical rainforest wonder. During this period, birds are singing constantly, streams are flowing long, trees are luxuriant, and rocks are abrupt and peculiar.

The four characters of "Aoshan shougu" on the memorial archway are inscribed by Mr. Wu Dongmin, chairman of Hainan Book Association.

It is said that when ju'ao, the mount of Guanyin, traveled to the South China Sea, he found that it was a blessed place with outstanding people. All the people here lived a long life. So ju'ao drank freely from the South China Sea and lay down in a blessed place, forming today's Nanshan. Overlooking Nanshan from the plane, Nanshan is a turtle shaped animal. The spring at the east foot of Nanshan Mountain flows down slowly, watering the land at the foot of Nanshan Mountain. People who drink and serve Nanshan are all long-lived. Therefore, we made this catchment valley line into a longevity Valley, which forms today's Aoshan longevity valley. Combined with the entrance, a sales point is set up to provide tourists with longevity, mascots, souvenirs and other services. The inner side of the gate is surrounded by Longevity Culture stele corridor to form a unified longevity culture activity square.

Stone Carving

There are two stone carvings of Shoushan in Fuhai and Yannian in Songhe, Dade Bishou (inscribed by Mr. Chen Zuohuang, a master of Chinese calligraphy and seal cutting), Huang Fang's poem "Aoshan Diecui", Fushou seal composed of strange words, Baishou picture and three couplets that fit the cultural landscape of Nanshan. From ancient times, modern times, literature, calligraphy, seal cutting and other aspects to show the longevity culture.

There are three conjoined turtles beside the main entrance passage, which are three generations of ancestors and grandchildren, and enlighten people to develop the traditional virtue of respecting the old and loving the young.

Wuliangshou stone inscription is the Chinese Calligraphy Association Vice Chairman Liu Bingsen's birthday character, 4m high. Pavilions and corridors are built beside the boulders, from which tourists enter the valley.

Longevity Culture

In order to excavate the connotation of Chinese traditional "longevity" culture, fully display its historical value and long-term vitality, and further enrich the local folk culture atmosphere, a large-scale natural landscape garden "longevity Valley" with tropical rainforest characteristics, with novel design, unique creativity and longevity culture as the theme, was built in Nanshan Cultural tourism area, and the first "longevity valley of Nanshan in China" was built in 1999 Cultural Festival is officially open to tourists.
