Weiling park is located in the north of Luohu District, Shenzhen City, adjacent to Buji street in the north and Buji customs in the west, with a planning area of 87 hectares. It is located in the south subtropical marine monsoon climate zone. The landform is dominated by low mountains and hills, and the vegetation is dominated by artificial forest and undergrowth evergreen broad-leaved forest. There are six peaks, of which the height of the surrounding ridge under the main peak is 186.5m. There are many small mountain peaks in Weiling, some of which are overlapped, and there are two streams. There are 505 species of wild vascular plants belonging to 344 genera and 131 families.

In 2002, with the approval of Shenzhen municipal government, Weiling Park was established as "a municipal open ecological park located at the edge of the special zone for tourists' leisure, entertainment, fitness and sightseeing". On the whole, the park is still in the undeveloped stage, and the landscape resources have not been fully planned. In the future, the park will take the natural mountains and valleys as the skeleton, and take the natural landscape and natural ecological environment formed by scenic forests and wild plant communities as the characteristics to plan and construct the park landscape.
