Shenzhen Gymnasium

Shenzhen gymnasium is located at the foot of Bijia mountain in Futian District. It is adjacent to Shangbu North Road in the East, Nigang West Road in the north and Sungang road in the south. Its gate faces east. It used to be the main venue for the 10th and 20th anniversary celebration of the special economic zone. Party and state leaders and provincial and municipal leaders joined the celebrations with the masses, and General Secretary Jiang Zemin delivered an important speech.

The building of Shenzhen gymnasium is square, grand and solid. The overall silvery white building, set off by the thick green Bijia mountain, is particularly distinctive and prominent.

In 1985, Shenzhen municipal government invested in the construction of Shenzhen gymnasium. The gymnasium covers an area of 10000 square meters, with a construction area of 21200 square meters. The East Gate on the first floor of the gymnasium is the entrance for guests, from which you can enter the VIP Hall and walk onto the rostrum and the guest seats. The north gate of the first floor is the equipment entrance, the south gate is the staff entrance, and there are emergency exits and fire evacuation exits.

The auditorium of the gymnasium adopts glass fiber reinforced plastic backless seats, with 12 auditorium areas, an elevator in the VIP Hall, 24 auditorium evacuation passageways, and two evacuation overpasses in the East and West connecting Shangbu North Road and Nigang West Road respectively. There are 5 evacuation passageways on the first floor, which can be used for fire vehicles and evacuation of spectators. The corridor on the first floor surrounds the main hall, with five entrances and exits connected to the main hall.
