Shataogou is located in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. It has many wonderful sceneries, wild interest, ancient trees, strange rocks, steep cliffs and crisscross.

Shataogou is a "U" shaped deep valley. The East and West entrances of the valley are respectively located at "meeting for thousands of miles" and zicaotan on the Bank of Jinbian river. There are many strange peaks, dense forests and slippery mosses. Viewing from the ditch, the peak is high and the sky is far away, the stream is deep and the water is clear, which is full of mythological interest and is known as "the labyrinth of the world".

The main scenic spots are five women worshipping teachers, Dragon Palace dancers, golden tortoise climbing to the sky, boy worshipping Guanyin, leaning tower and so on. Xiaotianmengou has the kingdom of Wulingyuan second bird. The round trip is about 14 kilometers.

Five women worship Shuai

Not far from "Lei Da Yan", you will see "five women worship Shuai". Its five peaks juxtaposed, like five heroines ready to go: the eldest sister held her head high and looked ahead; the second sister stepped forward and followed closely; the third sister and the fourth sister stepped on their horses and raised their guns, ready to go to the battlefield at any time; only the fifth sister was a little slow, with her head slightly low and her body slightly bowed, like a whole military uniform

Xitianmen

West Tianmen is one of the five Tianmen in Zhangjiajie. It is cleverly inlaid on the half wall of the peak in front of shadaogou like a bright mirror. It looks like a cave door leading to the heaven. It is said that it was the place where the leader of the Tujia peasant uprising was forced to flee after losing the battle against Dakun. When he came to the cliff and saw that there was no way to go, he was rescued by Guanyin's mother. The Bodhisattva poked a hole in the cliff with an umbrella handle. In this way, Xiang Tianzi got rid of the desperate situation and floated away.

Houerdong waterfall

This is the tallest waterfall in Wulingyuan District, with a vertical height of 130 meters. Its water from the moon rock flying straight down, like a long white practice, straight hanging in the mountains. The waterfall is usually small in water, but when it rises in summer, it roars like thunder and splashes. The water drops can splash tens of meters away and become fog. Under the sunlight, it turns into a rainbow. It's very beautiful and spectacular. If you can meet it by chance, it's really a blessing.

Bailongtan

Below the houerdong waterfall is the Bailongtan. Because the roads are blocked and the terrain is very dangerous, so far few people have set foot in it. It's like entering another world. Standing at the edge of Bailong lake, we can see that there is a water circle above the deep pool, the waves are smooth, the color is blue and black, and the water depth is difficult to measure. According to the local mountain people, they can't even hear the sound of water when they drop stones. It is said that there is a jade emperor in the sky and a dragon king in the pool. He usually throws stones and is taken away by the Dragon King. Only when the ancient mountain people knelt down and prayed for rain, and even threw a hundred stones, did the Dragon King come out with the splashing water to spray rain, and then went to the bottom of the pool to practice. Therefore, this Bailongtan has always been mysterious.

The first bridge in the world

The first bridge in the world is located outside Zhongping, above the yuanjiajie. Its height, span and breathtaking degree are rare, which can be called "the first bridge in the world". It is composed of two huge peaks with a vertical height of more than 300 meters. The two peaks are naturally connected by a huge stone slab, like a prefabricated slab built by hand. The bridge deck is about 2 meters wide and 20 meters long. On the bridge, the pines are tall and straight, the ancient vines are hanging upside down, and the abyss under the bridge is thousands of feet. When I boarded the bridge, I had such records: when I came to the bridge, I was shocked; when I looked down, it was unfathomable; when I looked around, there were cliffs and cliffs; when water splashed, it was as bright as snow; when I dropped a stone, it was silent. I walked around the bridge with dizzy hair, blurred eyes, shaking hands and numb feet. I repeatedly told myself to be careful, don't be nervous, be calm and don't panic, but I was still frightened. When I returned to Zhongping, the aftershocks slowly disappeared.

On the precipice of the first bridge in the world, I also saw the flower "thin azalea" (commonly known as "YINGSHANHONG" and "pangbihong") blooming in summer. The tree is very small and the flower is not big, but the color is very delicious. It is a great wonder on the precipice.
