Fuqiu peak
Fuqiu peak is one of the 36 peaks of Huangshan Mountain, with an altitude of 1683 meters.
Fuqiu peak is one of the 36 peaks of Huangshan Mountain. It is said that Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor, the ancestor of the Chinese nation, led his zuocheng and youcongchengzi and Fuqiu Duke. It took 480 years to come to Yishan mountain to extract stones for alchemy. Finally, he got the way to heaven. It is said that Fuqiu peak was the place where the Duke of Fuqiu visited, so it was named. Another alias "sedan peak", also known as "Ruo Maojian". But it is different from the "sedan peak" on Songgu road. At the top of Fuqiu peak, there is an immortal altar. A little below there is the Fuqiu temple, and then there is the Fuqiu Temple (demolished in the middle of Tang Dynasty). At the bottom of the peak is the source of Fuqiu (that is, the source of five clouds). The stream flowing out of the source is called "Fuqiu stream" (also known as "Fuxi"), which flows to the south for three to ten li before flowing into Caogong stream.
