Zhuojin building

Zhuojin building, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is an ancient architectural complex. It was first built in 1814 and rebuilt in 1898.

Zhuojin tower is one of the ancient buildings of Wangjiang tower in Chengdu. It was built around 1888. It has the same vein with Wangjiang tower. Because of its well preserved architectural style of Qing Dynasty, it is listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Chengdu. It is located in Wangjiang Park on the South Bank of Jinjiang River, Jiuyanqiao, Chengdu. Among the ancient buildings of Wangjianglou, Zhuojin tower is the only one next to chonglige.

Wash, wash. Since ancient times, the brocade industry in Chengdu has been developed. The brocade woven by brocade workers has been washed in Jinjiang and dyed into various colors. Therefore, Jinjiang is also called zhuojiang. The building is parallel to Zhuojin River, so it is called Zhuojin building.

Zhuojin building was built in 1814, destroyed in war and rebuilt in 1898. The building is also of all wood structure, which is characterized by its shape like a boat facing Jincheng. The building has three couplets and two floors, with lattice doors and windows on all sides. The second floor of the foyer is an open hall, just like the bow viewing platform. Each column in the building is carved with "twenty-eight constellations" with five colors and gold dots. The bow on the column is carved with cloud Dragon. The whole building is exquisite and empty. The layout of the building is parallel to the river bank.

Ticket information: no ticket required. Liyuan tickets include 45 yuan for adults in peak season (mid March to end of May, early July to end of October) and 30 yuan for adults in off season (end of May to early July, end of October to early March of the next year).
