Introduction to Museum

Wuxi shuaiyuan purple sand museum is a professional purple sand Museum. It was built in the early 1990s, formerly known as shuaiyuan Zisha Art Expo. At the beginning of the 21st century, Jiang Rong, a master of Chinese arts and crafts, once served as the general consultant of Expo Garden for many years. Today, Mr. Gu Shaopei, the inheritor of China's intangible cultural heritage and China's national master of Arts and crafts, is specially invited to be the honorary curator of the museum. The museum has a collection of about 100 pieces of purple sand pottery of various ages and styles. Many national masters of Arts and crafts, such as LV Yaocheng, Bao Zhiqiang, Xu Xiutang, Xu Hantang, Wang Yinxian, Zhou Guizhen, etc., have come to guide and discuss the art of purple sand.
