South Lake Park

Nanyuan is a small land on the east side of Nanhu. It is commonly known as Nanhu Park by the public. It is close to Nantan city of Huizhou and is far away from Feieling. In the old days, it was a martial arts arena and a nursery. In 1985, when dredging the lake, the water level of Nanyuan was raised and the park was opened up. The garden is mainly plant landscaping, with more than 80 species of trees, shrubs, flowers and trees, a total of more than 2700 trees, more than 5000 square meters of turf, and with lotus pond, stone hill scenery, winding garden, green water lingering, flowers and trees supporting sparse, wind-driven green waves, known as "Nanyuan green wadding".

In the northwest of Nanyuan, the CPPCC municipal committee built a memorial Pavilion of Deng Yanda and a bronze statue of Deng Yanda, which contained revolutionary historical figures in the scenic spots for people to look forward to, making the scenery of the lake and the mountains to a higher level.
