In the spring of 1934, Zhou Fohai, finance minister of the Wang puppet regime, bought the garden house and changed the name of the road to Hunan Road (Zhou Fohai and his grandfather were both Hunan people and participated in the first National Congress of the Communist Party of China). Here, a bamboo fence with a height of more than one person is erected on the wall of the courtyard, and the word "Hunan villa" is also marked outside.
