Wufengshan forest

The highest peak of Wufeng mountain, 1561 meters above sea level, is composed of five peaks, covering an area of 1600 hectares. In 1962, under the leadership of Comrade Cui dianliang, Nanping people began to plant trees on Wufeng mountain. After 20 years of hard work, Wufeng mountain was completely afforested, barren mountains and barren hills turned into forests. Wufeng mountain became the most famous plantation in southern Taihang. Nanping people's experience of afforestation has been popularized to the whole country. Nanping people have received foreign guests and friends for many times.

Now the volume of wood in Wufeng mountain is more than one million cubic meters, and the air in the forest is humid. It is known as "Taihang natural oxygen bar". The dense forest has become a paradise for wild animals, and rare animals such as leopard, wild boar, yellow sheep, badger, horned pheasant, pheasant, thrush, tit and so on are occasionally found.
