Liubu Bridge
Liubu bridge is an arched ancient bridge, which was called dutingyi bridge, Jinyun bridge and Tonghui bridge in ancient times. It is located on Zhonghe River in Hangzhou, near liubuqiao bus station. Liubu bridge, built in the Tang and Song Dynasties, has a history of 1000 years. The existing Liubu bridge was reconstructed by imitating the stone bridge of the Qing Dynasty when the Zhonghe river was renovated in the 1980s.
Evolution of construction
Liubu bridge, formerly known as dutingyi bridge.
During the Southern Song Dynasty, it was the only way for many officials of the three provinces and six ministries to go to work. Because it was opposite to the administrative offices of the three provinces and six ministries, it was called liubuqiao by local residents.
In the Yuan Dynasty, it was renamed Tonghui bridge.
In the Ming Dynasty, it was also called Jinyun bridge, but now it is called Liubu bridge.
