Jingdong Park

Jingdong park is located in the northwest of the intersection of Luoshan road and Boshan road in Pudong New Area, adjacent to Yangpu Bridge, covering an area of 31.2 mu (20800 square meters). It was designed and constructed by the former Huangpu Garden Institute. The first phase of the project was completed before the "National Day" in 1989 and officially opened to tourists. It was expanded to today's scale in 1996.

Park environment

The park is small in scale, but it contains the charm of Jiangnan gardens everywhere. There are nearly 10000 trees of about 200 kinds planted in the park. The winding path runs through the forest, connecting the four major scenic spots with the theme of lawn, rockery, pool and square. The landscape changes step by step, and "see the big from the small". The scenery in the park is reflected from afar.

The lawn scenic spot is located in the northwest corner of the park, with a pair of stone and wood imitation walls to create a natural scenery. Visitors can stay in it and look at the Yangpu Bridge behind the trees in the distance. The natural landscape and cultural landscape are integrated, reflecting the harmony between human and nature.

Located in the center of the park, the pool is divided into North and south sides. The pool surface is not wide, but it is clear and intoxicating. It is surrounded by cobblestone paths on the bank and connected with the "Rainbow Pavilion" by the pool. The lotus and water lilies in the pool correspond to the graceful posture of the weeping willows on the bank, giving people a sense of tranquility and leisure.

Located between the pool and the lawn, the rockery is formed by the accumulation of soil when digging the pool. The evergreen trees such as pines and cypresses on the mountain are lush, just like a green "canopy", which gives people a pleasant cool in summer.

The square is located in the southeast corner of the park. It is made up of exaggerated veranda and colorful pavement. Therefore, it is called "Rainbow". It is surrounded by low shrubs and flowers of four seasons. It makes people have a broad vision and a bright mind.

Each of the four scenic spots has its own characteristics, which adds a lot of beautiful scenery to the park. Jingdong park attracts many tourists with its beautiful scenery. It has become the main place for residents to exercise and activities in Pudong Yangjing area. The park seems to be a green jade inlaid under the Yangpu Bridge, and it is also a good place for Yangjing community leisure.
